@Rob first of all we thank you for informing a user of the new policy,

we appreciate it very much, and we are happy with our community from this point of view.

Of course we truly understand your regret regarding your achievements,

however keep in mind that until the release of ODST you will have at least had the chance to get your achievements as announced on our sales page, and we have kept this as long as we can, update after update, for every game released to date.

for us having to change all this is just more work, and less sales due to the new policy,

so it is not certain what we wanted.

if in the future we can do more, we will do it, first for you, and then for us.

But today you can still use all our software and their quality, which we do not believe is useless, unless your goal is only to obtain the achievements.

As always we apologize for this, and we hope in the future to be able to do more, but always respecting the will of the creators of the game and the online community and the laws themselves.

@CLOUDEND STUDIO I appreciate your response and stance taken. But for me personally I've not even played an online match, I purchased the package purely to bypass the EAC whilst still getting the in game unlocks. As the MCC collection comes with a "Disabled EAC" launch option. If I wanted to use trainers etc. without unlock the in game content I could just use that and save £80.

@CLOUDEND STUDIO Great to see such a quick update. I just thought you'd like to know that I've downloaded the new version and even with the v8 mcclauncher it seems as though MCC still recognises that EAC is not enabled and therefore disables challenge rewards, unlocks and achievements in game. Not sure if there are some additional steps for the new version that I didn't see?

@Rob We are very happy to know that the new VER 8 is to your liking, we have worked a lot for this.

Regarding our ANTI EAC instead we are forced to do this to prevent the use of our software online, unfortunately many users fail to understand what we mean between Single Player and Online, therefore in order to keep our software running in full compliance with our regulations we are forced to do this, this is the only way we currently have to protect the online community, as well as keeping our software active, updated and available without violating the will of the creators of the game.

Hello kind @Rob, we inform you that we have released the 8.1 patch, it will not be important to download but it will only solve some problems in the tooltip on HALO 3 ODST, just to inform you.

Hey there Bad_Wolf, Welcome and thank you for writing, yours is a good question, which we cannot answer, this because it will depend on what will happen when the games are released, for example, if future HMC games will be compatible with the same software then we will update the software normally and it will work for all of you, but if future games require we to develop new software then it will be sold separately, ultimately we don't know what will happen to the internal writing of the game after the release. the only sure thing is the functioning of our ANTI EAC for everyone because this is used before launching the game.

However, if from the experience we had to guess, we would say that it would also work with the release of future games of the Masterchief Collection, as happened for example with "Spyro reignited trilogy" or "Crash bandicoot n. Sane trilogy "
